Welcome! I'm Max, a scientific software developer in the Hodcroft lab at Swiss TPH in Allschwil, Switzerland. Here, I work primarily on Loculus and Pathoplexus — open-source projects for open sharing of human viral pathogen data. Outside of work, I play guitar — composing demos no-one will ever hear — enjoy video games, and read fantasy. I am currently finishing up Robin Hobb's excellent Liveship Traders trilogy.
